Alubond – leader in Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) manufacturing, we proudly announce that it has passed the rigorous Canadian ULC S-134 full-scale wall-assembly test designed to measure the limits of its fire spread, heat flux and burning characteristics of an exterior wall with controlled fire exposure.
Passing the CAN/ULC -S134 ensures compliance with the National Building Code of Canada, meaning the materials contained within the wall assembly – vapor barrier, cavity barrier, mineral insulation, extrusions, and Alubond cladding material – all together limit flame spread and heat flux, which is a critical requirement for buildings above 11 meter. Alubond USA ACM tested in accordance with CAN/ULC- S102 std and comply with NBCC.
